ICF Builder Awards Entry Deadline Closes Soon
Entries are now being accepted for the annual ICF Builder Awards and the People’s Choice Award. The entry form is available on the website, www.icfmag.com, under the Builder Awards tab. The deadline to return entry forms is Friday, October 10, 2025. Contractors, distributors, and ICF manufacturers are encouraged to submit projects in the following categories: Heavy Commercial, Light Commercial, MultiFamily, MultiFamily Low-Rise, Small Residential, Large Residential, Unlimited Residential, Pools, Education, and Specialty Applications. The awards ceremony is the most high-profile event in the ICF industry with winners announced at a catered evening event at World of Concrete each year. MAX USA Launches the RB823T TwinTier
MAX USA Corp., a leader in rebar tying solutions with 30+ years of experience, launched the RB823T, the newest TwinTier platform addition. The RB823T features the largest jaw size of any battery-powered rebar-tying tool, handling combinations from #7 x #7 up to #14 x #14 or #18 x #8. Delivering 0.5-second tying speeds, the 6-pound tool maximizes productivity while maintaining tie strength. Applications include footings, caissons, columns, cell phone towers, and water treatment plants. The RB823T completes approximately 4,100 ties per charge, with the 14.4V lithium-ion battery reaching 80% capacity in 60 minutes.
