Disaster-proof roofs, decks, and radiant heat flooring are easy with concrete pourover systems. EPS foam products are a great choice for insulated floors. Steel joists make it easy for HVAC and utility chases.
Quad-Deck
Quad-Deck Insulating Concrete Forming System for Floors and Roofs
Quad-Deck uses Plastbau® Technology to create an energy efficient and quality ICF floor or roof system. Each of the expanded polystyrene (EPS) panels are supported and reinforced with two integral steel beams molded into the product from end to end. The result is a self-supporting joist and deck forming system that provides the maximum strength of a reinforced concrete deck with a minimum of materials and labor.
Quad-Deck forms are available in thicknesses between 7" and 13.5" [178mm to 318mm]. Quad-Deck ICF with reinforced concrete can free span up to 43 ft [13m]. Quad-Deck is delivered to the site ready to install – all forms are pre-cut in length and labeled at the factory. Using Quad-Lock ICF and concrete provides an ideal substrate for green roof applications.
Lite-Deck is an ICF system for concrete floors, roofs and decks. The EPS form creates load-bearing concrete joists every 24-inches with a continuous concrete “cover” of 2-3 inches or more. The form can be engineered and custom-assembled to support clearspans of up to 40-feet or more (+ or – 1-inch). With rebar, Lite-Deck can be structurally integrated with virtually all brands of ICF wall systems and concrete wall thicknesses. Deck forms can be installed along with the ICF wall form set-up or after the ICF walls have been filled. Exclusive Top Hats are used to customize forms for transverse beams, stair openings, etc. Lite-Deck was developed by Lite-Form Technologies (South Sioux City Nebraska) and is available through a network of local dealers as well as regional manufacturers across the U.S. For more information about Lite-Deck, visit website: www.litedeck.com or contact Lite-Form Technologies: 800-551-3313 (U.S. and Canada) or 402-241-4402.
Speedfloor is a great way to add concrete floors to any ICF structure.
At the heart of the system is a joist made from high tensile galvanized steel that offers all the benefits of an open-webbed truss at a more competitive price. It needs no shoring and is light enough to be placed by hand, reducing or eliminated heavy equipment costs. Joists are delivered to the site pre-cut and ready to install.
The lightweight, cost-effective system is perfect for multi-story residential projects, commercial buildings ,and parking garages. Whether it’s one story or fifteen, the recipe is the same: Simply set the Speedfloor joists into place, mix concrete and pour!
The Speedfloor system is lighter, faster, and easier to install than precast planks, and can create significant labor savings, up to 24%.
Speedfloor is a perfect complement for ICF construction, and is designed to work with radiant heat, geothermal hydronic systems, and other green technologies.
